This 1962 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport 409 is a fully restored, frame-off rotisserie build completed with high attention to factory-correct detail and craftsmanship. Painted in factory-correct Autumn Gold with matching trim and finish, this car stands out for its authenticity and visual impact. The restoration was executed using original components wherever possible, with two donor cars sourced to minimize the use of reproduction parts.

Power comes from a 409 cubic inch Turbo-Fire V8 rated at 409 horsepower. It features dual Carter AFB 4-barrel carburetors, a correct GM aluminum intake, and a large twin-snorkel air cleaner. The Muncie 4-speed manual transmission is equipped with a Hurst shifter, delivering crisp, smooth gear changes. The drivetrain also includes a posi-traction rear end and power steering.

Suspension upgrades include Hotchkis components front and rear, enhancing handling and ride quality. A newer 2.5-inch exhaust system is fitted along with rear air shocks for adjustable stance and comfort. The car rides on 15-inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels that complement its period-correct aesthetic.

The interior is fitted with a retro-style AM/FM radio, in-dash factory gauges, and under-dash air conditioning. The cabin and trim reflect the same high-level restoration quality seen throughout the rest of the vehicle.
