Description
Under the hood, you'll find a small block Chevy engine equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor and headers, paired to a Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission. Supporting equipment includes power steering and power drum brakes. The car rides on 15' GM Rally wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires.
Additional upgrades include a rear deck spoiler, aluminum radiator, dual exhaust, aftermarket stereo head unit with door speakers and a trunk-mounted subwoofer, and a 1969-style center console. Interior is fitted with under-dash mounted auxiliary temp and oil pressure gauges.
Exterior Condition:
The paint is approximately 20 years old and shows typical wear consistent with its age, including dents, scratches, paint chips, minor touch-ups, and other imperfections. Despite the patina, it still shines with a little effort and presents well as a classic cruiser. Importantly, there are no rust holes, no bubbling, and no evidence of excessive body filler on the body. A common rust area-the passenger-side rear floor pan does show some corrosion, typical for convertibles of this era.
Interior and Electrical:
The interior is driver-quality: functional, presentable, and not torn up, though not show-winning. Speedometer and auxiliary gauges function properly. Tail lights and brake lights are operational. Headlights and front turn signals are inconsistent and should be inspected.
Mechanical:
The car starts, runs, drives, and steers well enough for local cruising. However, the tires are old and should be replaced, and a full safety inspection is recommended prior to any extended freeway or interstate driving. With some basic maintenance and polish, this Camaro can be enjoyed immediately while leaving room for future improvements.
